【摘要】:ThispartofISO294specifiesatwo-cavitymould(designatedthetypeFISOmould)fortheinjectionmouldingof80mm?90mmplateswithapreferredthicknessof2mmforsingle-pointdataacquisitionbecause2mmhasbeenfoundtoprovidethemaximumanisotropicproperties,withonlyaslightsensitivitytotherateofinjection.Forthedesignofplasticparts,thiswillprovideupperandlowerboundsforthetensileproperties.Matchingtheplatethicknesstoagivenpartthicknessisnotasuitablecriterionbecauseoftheeffectofmouldfillingrateandpartgeometryonanisotropy.Suitabletestspecimens[ISO527-2type1BAtensiletestspecimensortype1(80mm?10mm)bars]arethenmachinedordie-cutfromtheplates(seeAnnexA)andusedtoobtaininformationontheanisotropyofthermoplasticparts.Investigationoftheanisotropyofmaterialsisaspecialprocedureintendedtoprovideguidanceinthedesignofmouldingsforend-useapplicationsandisnotintendedasaqualitycontroltool.Intheinjectionmouldingofthermoplasticmaterials,theflowofmoltenpolymermayinfluencetheorientationoffillerssuchasfibreglassortheorientationofpolymerchains.Thiscanresultinanisotropicbehaviour.Theknowledgeofanisotropicbehaviourisvaluableindesigningplasticparts.ForthepurposesofthispartofISO294,theflowdirectionisdefinedasthedirectionfromthegatetothefarendofthemouldcavity,andthecrossdirectionasthedirectionperpendiculartotheflowdirection.ThetypeFmouldisnotintendedtoreplacethetypeDmouldusedtodeterminethemouldingshrinkageofthermoplastics.
